Wanted Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic

Full Time - Monday to Friday. The position located in Langley and the candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, diagnosis of our truck fleet of approximately 25 vehicles (as well as various trailers). Succesful candidate would be involved in small engine, cooling system, fuel system and break maintenance and regular PM servicing. We are looking for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with experience in automotive electric, working with pumps, hydraulics, etc. Welding experience is an asset.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include: - Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies - Testing equipment for proper performance and ensuring that all equipment is in working order - Diagnosing various equipment faults or malfunctions - Keeping equipment cleaned, lubricated and maintained - Interpreting work orders and technical manuals - Writing service reports

KEY QUALIFICATIONS: - Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic Certification - Basic computer knowledge/skills - 5 years of experience - Automotive electrical experience - Welding

Skills and Certifications REQUIRED: - Heavy Duty Mechanic Ticket - Own tools - Likes working alone and as a team - Self motivated - Works well in a team environment - Strong problem solving skills - Adapts to changing environments - Able to work Over time - Able to travel - Willing to help out in all areas of the company as required - Reliable - Own transportation
