DSP/Digital Hardware Engineer – Vancouver Jobs

Design digital hardware platforms for wide bandwidth software configurable radio, according to the project requirement. Developing DSP algorithms, and conducting performance simulations. Leading board-level digital, power, and analog design, analysis, and test. Must be able to quickly assimilate and refine existing hardware designs. Job requirements:
Strong C/Matlab programming skills Design experience using MATLAB, Simulink, Xilinx System Generator Design experience with Xilinx Microblaze Capability of DSP algorithm design and implementation in FPGA fabric and C Design experience in wireless communication digital front ends (interpolators, decimators, DUC, DDC) Knowledge of signal processing, algorithms, modulations, software and hardware design Strong experience in digital and mixed signal platforms consisting of Xilinx FPGA(s), high speed DACs (>500 Msps), ADCs (>200 Msps), Microcontroller, Clock Synthesizers, Memory ICs, and so on. Hands on experience defining architecture, writing design specifications, and functional verification Working experience with wireless communication technologies/standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE) Hands-on experience with hardware prototype boards, performance evaluation and system debugging Hands-on experience in using test equipment (Oscilloscopes, ESG Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Signal Generators, and similar) Good analytical, problem solving and debugging skills Strong communications skills, oral and written
Education Requirements:
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Electronics, or Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years hands-on experience
