Law Firm position (Yaletown)

I am a lawyer with an office in Yaletown. I wish to hire an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to work with myself and my senior paralegal. The position will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • dealing with clients to answer enquiries and follow up on files;
  • answering phones and dealing with couriers
  • dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • preparing legal documents, correspondence and invoices
  • maintaining client database
  • maintaining bank accounts and related records
  • photocopying, scanning, filing, printing labels, monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • assisting senior paralegal with files

Training in corporate records, conveyancing and law office procedures will be provided.

The candidate should have the following skills and knowledge will include:

  • able to work quickly and accurately
  • strong communication, organization and keyboarding skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English
